Welcome to Firestone High School!


Firestone High School (FHS), a campus for Academic Excellence, offers students a stunning array of programs. The International Baccalaureate (IB) program features a rigorous, college-level curriculum for the most educationally motivated students in the Akron area. A comprehensive make-up of Advanced Placement courses is offered, resulting in many possibilities for an excellent college-level education. FHS is also known and praised for its Visual and Performing Arts program. A variety of creative arts, including Theatre Arts, Visual Arts, and Performing Arts, offer a student an excellent education in the arts and a great way to show off their creativity. In addition to all of this, FHS offers several Career and Technical (CTE) education programs, designed to prepare students for occupations in the future. CTE programs at Firestone include Administrative Office Technology (AOT), Business Finance, Information Technology (IT), Marketing Education (DECA) and Project Lead the Way (PLTW).
